Remember how exciting it was to go shopping for school supplies at the end of every summer? Unfortunately, it’s not exciting for all families. According to the National Retail Federation, in 2022 families with children in elementary school and high school are expected to spend an average of $864 on supplies. This can be a financial burden on many families, and can result in students being unprepared for the new school year.
To help ease this burden, the SEOM team held a school supply drive, donating to our local Bensalem Township School District. Together we collected enough supplies to fill 24 backpacks with notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, highlighters, crayons, and more essential items for the 2022-2023 school year.
We are passionate about giving back to our community and thrilled to support our youth so that they have everything they need in order to succeed.
