At SEOM, we take our fun as seriously as our work. And for me (Operations Director and diehard baseball enthusiast), this past week was nothing short of a grand slam.
For our annual spring outing, the team went down to Citizens Bank Park to see the Phillies play the Cardinals on Wednesday, May 14. Even though the skies were gray and the rain didn’t hold back, it didn’t dampen our spirits.
We kicked things off with some classic tailgating and finished the day with a Phillies win. There’s something special about bonding with your coworkers outside the office, especially when you’re all huddled under the awnings of K Lot with the smell of grilled hot dogs in the air.
Because of the previous night’s storm, this game was part of a doubleheader. While most of the team went home after the first game, I couldn’t resist sticking around for the nightcap. A little extra rain and a second helping of Phillies baseball? Count me in.
Then, on Friday, May 16, our HR partner, Converge HR Solutions, kept the baseball vibes rolling by inviting me back to the park for the Phillies vs. Pirates. Another bout of rain delayed the first pitch, but once again, it was worth the wait. We witnessed a milestone moment—Bryce Harper’s 1,000th career RBI—an unforgettable highlight in an already memorable week.

These kinds of experiences are what make SEOM more than just a great place to work. We’re a team that genuinely enjoys spending time together, on and off the clock. Events like these reflect our commitment to work/life balance, a value that runs just as deep as our love for digital marketing (and, for some of us, baseball).
P.S. If you spotted the hat I’m wearing in these photos, I must admit I am a Mets fan. They’re the team that made me love baseball! But trust me when I say that I love the Phillies too. I’ve attended 77 games at Citizens Bank Park and can say with certainty that it’s one of the best atmospheres in baseball.
