The past two years have been full of challenges, growth, and discovering more ways we can show up for each other and our community. This holiday season we partnered with the YWCA of Bucks County, an organization dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Over the years, the YWCA of Bucks County has created countless programs to help families in need such as a food pantry, respite care, homework zone, and more.

During Thanksgiving, SEOM held a food drive to help stock the YWCA’s food pantry. This location serves more than 80 families per week and relies on donations from local businesses and community members. Our team collected a variety of canned goods, nonperishable items and 15 $20 grocery store gift cards so that families can shop on their own.

To keep the holiday spirit going, SEOM also sponsored a family for Christmas through the YWCA. Our team had a blast shopping for this family of 3 adults and 2 children. Their wish list included toys, clothes, puzzles, cleaning supplies and more. We understand the holidays can be stressful and expensive, and we feel privileged to be able to help a local family celebrate.

If you’re local to Bucks County and looking to partner with a worthy organization or donate your time and resources, look no further than the YWCA of Bucks County.
