Job Description

The Social Media intern supports the Social Media Manager in both organic and paid social strategies on multiple social channels through thoughtfully-planned content and targeted advertising.


  • Draft monthly content calendars for clients on multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz, YouTube)
  • Schedule clients’ monthly content and posts using tools like Hootsuite
  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop in the creation of unique graphics for each client
  • Monitor notifications in clients’ social media channels
  • Draft monthly social media reports using tools like Sprout Social and Google Analytics to assess and measure the performance of the social media marketing efforts

Required Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of various social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Houzz, YouTube)
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Basic skills in Photoshop or other graphic design software a plus
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Great time and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects with challenging tasks
  • Google Analytics experience a plus
