Like many businesses operating during the pandemic, one of our interior decorator clients had to pivot in order to stay relevant during these unprecedented times. Discover how we utilized email marketing to keep their brand in front of their customers.
Background
SEOM recommended email marketing as a way to re-engage previous clients to help build repeat business. Having been in business for over 20 years, this client had built an email list of a few hundred clients.
Strategy
SEOM Interactive asked the client to segment their list into residential clients and commercial clients so that we could tailor each newsletter to the right audience. We designed a newsletter template that we update each month with fresh, engaging content.
Highlights include COVID-19 related changes, such as offering virtual design consultations, as well as seasonal highlights like updating your outdoor space for the summer. And with so many of us working from home, we featured content about decorating your home office space.
Results
We have sent three newsletters over the past three months. While each newsletter performs a little differently, overall we’ve seen above average open rates and click through rates. Most importantly, the client secured a new project from a former client who had seen their series of emails.
