Job Description

The Social Media Specialist manages accounts for our social media clients day-to-day. This position is primarily accountable for designing, developing, implementing and analyzing social media performance, including organic and paid strategies.

The Social Media Specialist oversees our clients’ social media activities and will engage their target audiences through thoughtfully planned content and targeted advertising strategies.


  • Design and implement social media strategies for clients including organic and paid methods
  • Curate and create content calendar for clients on multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Houzz, YouTube)
  • Schedule clients’ monthly content and posts using tools like Hootsuite
  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop in the creation of unique graphics for each client
  • Monitor clients’ social media channels
  • Launch and monitor paid social media campaigns across different platforms from development to execution (i.e. design, schedule, budget, ad image and copy)
  • Provide monthly social media reports using tools like Sprout Social and Google Analytics to assess and measure the performance of the social media marketing efforts
  • Work collaboratively with PR, PPC and content departments
  • Maintain constant communication through email and calls with clients for optimal customer service
  • Speak with clients over the phone and in person to explain the benefits of social media marketing and advertising

Required Skills

  • Proficient knowledge of various social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Houzz, YouTube)
  • Demonstrated experience using Facebook Ads Manager, including running and optimizing various types of Facebook ad campaigns
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Basic skills in Photoshop or other graphic design software
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Great time and project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects with challenging tasks
  • Google Analytics experience a plus
